DESIGN
SFTB, Inc. has CAD drafting and hand drafting capability and can work with the client, designer and/or architect to provide a complete set of construction and permitting plans, or revisions or details if they are needed.
Our design team has close to 50 years of combined experience working in the Santa Fe area and can provide enthusiastic references confirming our creativity and user-friendly skills.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
SFTB, Inc. can obtain approvals from governmental entities or subdivision design review boards, provide estimating and value engineering to assist in project budgeting, or help in selecting and contracting with architects and/or engineers, and selecting contractors and/or subcontractors. We have developed clear, easy to understand cost tracking and billing documents and procedures, and have a reputation (backed by references) for integrity and fidelity to our clients. And we have specialized in working with clients who are not able to be present here in Santa Fe, and we understand the need for regular written communications and photos to keep those clients well informed.
Residential New Construction
SFTB, Inc. has constructed over 50 new homes, and continues to service many of them through our permanent warranty program. For a period of 5 years in the late 1980's we also operated as foundation subcontractors serving many of Santa Fe's finest custom home builders, and this has provided us with crucial hands-on knowledge about this most important phase of new construction. A properly constructed foundation is absolutely essential in producing a well built structure, and we can supervise the subcontractors or do the work ourselves! Some of our new homes can be seen in our photo gallery, and we always welcome the opportunity to take prospective clients to see for themselves the quality and attention to detail we take pride in.
RESIDENTIAL ADDITIONS & REMODELING
SFTB, Inc. is as enthusiastic about these types of projects as we are about our new residences. It takes imagination and innovative thinking to build additions which blend seamlessly with existing structures, or to revise existing spaces to look or work better, or to serve new purposes. We enjoy the challenge that these projects sometimes present, and have worked as a team with owners, architects, and/or designers to solve problems, and develop improved plans when opportunities to do so were encountered. And our permanent warranty applies to these projects as well!
LIGHT COMMERCIAL & COMMERCIAL TENANT IMPROVEMENTS
SFTB, Inc. has constructed a small commercial kitchen at an organic farm and has remodeled retail stores, a fitness club, galleries, doctors' and dental offices, and a large plasma donor center. We recently completed a re-stucco at a very busy two-story real estate office. Our success in working around and in operating businesses and meeting deadlines are important aspects of our experience in commercial construction.
MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS, COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL
SFTB, Inc. is proud to offer our services even when the projects are small and sometimes not at all glamorous. Re-roofing, replacing septic systems, waterproofing below grade, solving drainage problems, and providing regular inspections, caulking, and other preventative maintenance are all projects that we approach with the same concern for quality and value that we apply to our more substantial projects.
